Trailside Exotics - Pure European Mouflon & Registered British Soay Sheep
European Mouflon are a "species" of  wild sheep, similar to the Alaskan Dall or Rocky Mountain Bighorn. The Mouflon is the smallest of all wild sheep and is believed, by many, to be the most  beautiful of all wild sheep.

Here at Trailside Exotics, we breed only purebred mouflon. We take pride in the quality of our stock and believe our mouflon show it. Take a look at our mouflon
page and see for your self.

Whether your a breeder, ranch owner, hobbyist, or just looking for a pet, a mouflon might be just what your looking for.

British Soays originated from western scotland. They are small (40 to 75 pounds) and easy to care for. Soays generally shed their wool in late spring so shearing is not an issue. Ewes usually have a single lamb their first year and then twins there after. Soay ewes have fewer  problems giving birth than larger domestic breeds.

Soays are great for clearing land for new pastures or fields. They will eat willows, poison oak, black and raspberry bushes along with other noxious weeds and shrubs.

Trailside Exotics aquired it's first breeding trio of registered British Soays  in May of 2009.

These sheep are perfect for small farms or the begining farmer.
